My name is Sara
Lauzon, or, as Cornwall citizens and media have affectionately coined me,
"Cornwall's Little Historian." I am 28 years old, and I was born and
raised in Cornwall, Ontario. I am a graduate of St. Lawrence College (General
Arts and Science Diploma) and the University of Ottawa, where I received my BA
in History. I am currently enrolled in online studies through St. Lawrence
College. I am completing a Certificate in Records and Information Management.
I have been obsessed with Cornwall’s history since the age of sixteen. I have spent the last eleven years researching, writing, and sharing Cornwall’s rich history through newspaper articles, walking tours, lectures, and social media. I proudly write a history column that is published bi-weekly in The Seaway News.
